When I need to memorize lists of things (i.e. the infraclavicular lateral cord branches), I try to formulate the first letter of each important item in the list into some sort of word. Sometimes this works--sometimes this doesn't (mainly when I can't remember if PACCS went with medial cord or fascia of the pectoral region). But always always always, I have to pronounce the series of letters as a word. And for some reason this irritates the piss out of me.

For example, I can't just remember the letters A-R-M-M-U for terminal branches in the brachial plexus. I have to pronounce it Ar-meh-moo whenever I do.

Why I'm telling you this, I'm not quite sure.

But I am.

And now I'm not anymore.

Goodbye.
