Explosive!
I've been contemplating going to see my A&P instructor--who is a chiropractor--about my carpal tunnel and recent back-pain to see if an adjustment might help, seeing as he apparently is a fricking miracle-worker according to those who've gone to see him.
However, I can't quite decide whether I should or not because although he offers wicked-good student discounts on follow-up visits, the first visit (complete with x-rays and whatnot) is a pretty penny.
The other major reason I'm leery is that HE MADE SOMEONE SHIT THEMSELVES WHEN HE WAS ADJUSTING THEM.
Yes.
You heard me.
Poop. All over the place.
I say that in horror not because he's a malpractice-suit just waiting to happen but because it's not a hugely abnormal response (apparently he was adjusting their lumbar vertebra, I think, which has nerves which innervate some of the digestive organs). And knowing my luck, I'd end up shitting all over myself. And how would I ever be able to look him in the face again if that happened?
Precisely.
